Make your way to Yoerg Brewing (opens in new window) for this month’s meeting. We have a triangle test lined up and the details are hidden, but all will be revealed with a discussion on the two different parameters. Bring your tastebuds!

November brings us to the Brew the Style for Wee Heavy (17C) (opens in a new window). A number of people brewing one up, so it looks like great competition! Remember that the winner gets an entry comp’d to an upcoming competition and gets to bring home the “Brewer’s Belt” to add your own flair to the belt. The winner has some say in choosing the style for the next Brew the Style club competition.
Advanced notice to all that the November meeting will be on the 2nd Tuesday so you can fulfill your civic duty on the first Tuesday.
The holiday party is still getting sorted. Anticipate something pot-lucky at somewhere beery. The crystal ball is pretty cloudy right now.
The club did well at the State Fair again, with 8 ribbons from 5 different brewers: James Henjum, Dave Bance, Jeremy Olsen, Nick Stevens, and Jim Bannon. Great job all!
Hoppy Halloween registration filled up quickly, but Dave and Aric made it in. Anyone else? NBA’s City of Lakes entry registration opens Oct 9 and it’s capped at 250. It’s a fun comp each year, and great for judging. Be sure to sign up because after that there isn’t much for comps in the region until about January.
