As usual, bring your latest and greatest homebrew, mead, cider, cyser and whatnot for sampling and feedback – bring your notebooks. Leave your ego at home.

Keep in mind that we can’t bring homebrew to Minneapolis, so keep it at home this month. But Tom will have a nice selection, so bring your cash money.

Falling Knife Brewing:

New this year, we’re getting some pizzas ordered from Wrecktangle, but feel free to bring an appetizer, desert, or whatever else you’d like to bring (club members – check your email for the signup sheet). If you are planning on coming, please give me a heads up so I can get in the ballpark on numbers of pizzas (non-members – just let us know through the comments below if you plan to attend).

Don’t forget also that in January we’ll be back at NB headquarters in Roseville for a British and Irish Stouts Brew the Style! More to come next week.

This month, is A VERY SPECIAL AFTER SCHOOL MEETING …

In a Norwegian tradition called Oppskåke, travelers Ivar and Johnny will be discussing historic Norwegian farmhouse brewing. This will certainly be a unique experience.  Ivar and Johnny are coming to Minnesota – gear in tote – to share a few weeks with us and teach us.

This meeting is fresh off the heels of their brewing event on Saturday, September 16th, in which they will have coordinated multiple simultaneous brewing demonstrations that showcase brewing techniques from four regions of Norway (you should go to that, too, if you can). At the September meeting, we will be sampling these beers.
