Just stop on by. This meeting. Another meeting. Whenever it works for you. Meetings are informal and tend to last about two hours or so.
This meeting: Tuesday, January 6th, 7 – 9 p.m.
We are at Falling Knife Brewing (thanks, guys … and thank you always, Tom). Bring your credit card and remember to tip well.
This month, we are welcoming Bill Dumler of Two-Track Malting. He’ll be talking all things malt, so bring your questions for an engaging Q&A! He’ll also be bringing us some malt if people want to make some test batches out of it. Additionally, I’ll have a stack of the 2026 SPHBC club member bottle opener swag in a sharp blue and white motif for those of you who paid your dues this year.
February is the next Brew the Style, focusing on American IPA (21A). Remember that the winner gets an entry fee comped and your name engraved in my Brew the Style winners spreadsheet. In March, we return to the malt topic with a taste test of some base and specialty grains to identify some of the differences in these grains and their contributions in your beer.

Time is running out to pay your 2025 club dues (kidding – we’ll take them well into 2026). The club gets to keep the lights on with mundane things like web hosting and replacement parts for the club gear. Plus -The 2026 dues are here! New for 2026, the first 50 who renew or join SPHBC membership will get a custom SPHBC bottle opener! Only 50 of these printed, so get one while they last.
